My clever workaround solution?  I poured myself a cold brew and resigned myself to being temporarily unable to build CitySearch 清单s for my 新est clients.  I’d been on 的choppy old wooden roller coaster at CitySearch Land before and just assumed 那里 was nothing to be done about 的bumpy ride.

    I’m glad 那里 是 其他 s who share my frustration with CityGrid.

    But to be honest, 那里 has only been one instance where I had a client who was not found on City Search. Luckily 那 was back when 加 ing a 清单 was easier. That client was a brand 新 start up so 那里fore he was not found anywhere on 的Internet.

    早在2012年5月，我终于打电话给了CitySearch / CityGrid。

    Spoke w a very friendly chap 那里 named Luiz on Thursday, May 3, 2012 for nearly an hour on 的phone, and he took plenty of time to listen to what I do as a 自由 lance online marketer for 我的客户s and explained quite a bit to me about 的whole CitySearch/CityGridMedia thing!

    I was incredibly relieved to have a friendly, personal contact 那里 (Luiz) who 自由 ly offered up his personal email and direct phone number at 的beginning of 的call in case I ever needed to contact him or them with any similar questions.     I a have (previously mentioned) client who is, for some maddening reason, continuing to have 清单 problems 那 是 showing up in our Google+ 清单. After tracking 的bunk phone number back upstream through a simply Google search using 的incorrect NAP info…足够肯定：事实证明，错误的数据似乎来自于错误的城市搜索列表！ Rrr ..我以为我们都清理了。

    • CitySearch definitely is in a state of flux regarding DIY 清单s. The 自由 清单 is bare-bones, as you say. But 那’s fine. It’仍然是一个非常重要的引用’s worth getting reviews on 的site as well, so at least 那 will help make up for 的sparse feel.

    • Call 800-611-4827. Press 1 to indicate 那 you would like to become an advertiser (even though you want a 自由 清单). Tell 的rep 那 you would like to 加 your business to their network. It 应该 take 1-3 days for you to be 加 ed.

  26. Hi 菲尔 . I just called 的800-611-4827 那 Robin suggested a few months back and pressed 1 and 1. When I spoke to their rep they said 那 their policy has changed and now you need to sign up through their partner Infogroup at ExpressUpdateUSA.com. Not sure how long it would take for 的listing to show up on Citysearch once Infogroup 加 s you though.

  30. Much like you, I was enjoying a beer and doing searches all over 的web for a solution. CitySearch can be a pain. However, this solution is exactly what I needed for 我的客户s.
